We are proud to share that our Nexara IP team attended the World IP DAY 2026 event held on 28th April 2026 at Vanijya Bhawan, New Delhi, organized by FICCI in collaboration with DPIIT.

This year’s theme, “IP and Sports: Ready, Set, Innovate!”, brought together policymakers, legal experts, industry leaders, and sports professionals to explore how intellectual property is shaping the future of sports — from broadcasting and media rights to athlete branding, GI protection for sports equipment, and the commercialization of performance data.

• Insights on IP in the sporting arena with leaders from JioStar, ASICS India, and boAt.
• A fireside chat on India’s top sports leagues and GI’s role in sports equipment.
• A workshop by ASCI on sports advertising, endorsements, and influencer disclosures.
• A global panel on emerging IP trends in sports tech and digital fan engagement.
• The launch of the Design Hackathon and felicitation of the J&K Ranji Trophy team.

The Nexara IP team was proud to attend the one-day conference “From Patent to Product: Accelerating IP Commercialization in Electronics & IT” organized by C-DAC Pune under the Ministry of Electronics & IT at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 12th May 2026.

The event brought together policymakers, innovators, researchers, and industry leaders to bridge the critical gap between IP creation and real-world product commercialization.

• The official launch of "IP Catalyst" by Shri. S. Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY, aimed at strengthening India’s IP-to-product journey in electronics and IT.
• Insightful panel discussions on Lab-to-Market acceleration, Startup & MSME enablement through IP, and Technology Transfer and Commercialization.
• Interactive session by Prof. Padmavati Manchikanti, Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur.
• Engaging sessions on the role of AI, Software, and Electronics in navigating the commercialization path, with perspectives from MeitY, DST, NASSCOM, IITs, and leading industry voices.

Team Nexara IP had the privilege of attending the IP Innovation Workshop – Patent Ecosystem in India, Process, Trends in Telecom ICT, and IP-Driven Innovation organized by TCOE India in association with CGPDTM at Bouddhik Sampada Bhawan, Dwarka, New Delhi, on 14 May 2026.

The workshop brought together key voices from the telecom and IP ecosystem to discuss innovation, patent commercialization, and the evolving role of IP in India’s growth story.

Team Nexara IP just wrapped up an energizing two days at InnoMetro Expo 2026, India’s flagship showcase for urban mobility, deep-tech, and startup innovation at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, India.

• Met brilliant inventors, founders, and MSMEs building India’s next generation of products in EV, IoT, AI, semiconductors, and smart infrastructure.
• Conducted 1:1 IP awareness sessions for startups — from “When should I file a patent?” to “How do I stop competitors from copying my brand?” to "trademark filings".
• Discussed IP strategy, global filings, and tech-transfer with R&D heads and managers.

Grateful to have met Mr. Sanjeev Sachdeva, MD of Aurotoshi, along with many visionary leaders driving India’s manufacturing & tech story. Conversations like these reinforce why strong IP portfolios are now boardroom discussions, not just legal checklists.

On 8th June 2026, Nexara IP had the privilege of attending the CII Symposium on Technologies Enabling Waste-to-Worth Transformation at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi — organized on the occasion of World Environment Day.

The sessions brought together industry leaders, policymakers, innovators, and researchers to discuss how technology can power a circular future.

We also had the opportunity to engage with Dr. Nilima Rani from DST, whose insights on innovation and science-driven policy were invaluable.

The launch of the CII White Paper on Achieving a Circular Carbon Economy through CCUS added further depth, providing actionable recommendations for India’s net-zero journey.
